Introduction

When driving along the winding rural path, tourists can see a narrow view of farms and a gradually expanding area of woods. The Jin Hu An bus shelter designed by the owner, with a childlike gate, looks like a castle in a fairytale. The Guide walks nearby asking visitors if they’d like a guided tour. The stories inside the gate immediately generate infinite imagination.
This is a leisure farm suitable for picnicking. With beautiful houses, large green lands, tables and chairs along the walls to relax, tourists feel like they’re on vacation here. The farm is famous for its bayberries. There are also more than 10 kinds of exotic flowers and fruits. Through fruit picking, food and farming experience activities, the farm provides dishes made of fruits and changes the menu by season.

After retiring, the owner of the farm, Chang Chin-Wei, became the King of Bayberries. His wife and children all devote themselves to farmlife. Besides bayberries, the farm also grows limes, abius, sweet lemons, black persimmons, wampees, quinces, and other fruit trees. The 2500-ping farm excels in both guided tours and food; a trip well worth the wait.

Features of Agricultural Tourism

Fruits

The Farm cultivates bayberries as large as a ping pong ball and as tasteful as a sweet, mainly black bayberries and red bayberries. Every May and June when bayberries ripen, they taste like a combination of strawberries and mulberries with a pleasant pomelo fragrance. The harvest season of bayberries is only two months a year. Under natural farming, toxic-free bayberries grown by the farm can be served as ingredients of dishes, made into sauce, or eaten as they are. No matter how you use them, they taste different every time.

The farm markets its own products. During bayberry harvest season, besides selling fresh fruit, the farm also sells bayberry smoothies, bayberry juice, perilla bayberry juice, bayberry tarts, bayberry waffles, bayberry jelly, bayberry jam, bayberry vinegar, frozen bayberries, and other products. The farm also serves dishes such as deep-fried chicken with bayberry hot sauce, deep-fried chicken with perilla and bayberries, and lots more. Juice, handmade jam, and frozen fruit giftboxes are available online for delivery.
