As for the Farm’s establishment, the second-generation farmer Liu Tien-Chun laughingly said that in the beginning, he took over the family business because he would like to lighten the load from his elderly father. Gradually he became devoted to the world of ginger and turmeric. The Farm is named after his mother Tu Ju-ying. On one hand , it is in memory of her; on the other, he wanted to fulfill his mother’s wish to run a restaurant in Jiang Ma Yuan and share the beautiful local scenery with others. As a result, the Farm is a combination of a leisure farm and restaurant.
