Introduction

Having been rooted in Puli for over half a century, the farm was founded by Zheng Wen-qian, a pioneer in Taiwan’s mushroom cultivation industry since 1966. He participated in the development of “space bag” (mushroom cultivation bag) technology and established a complete vertical integration system from spawn supply and bag production to cultivation and sales.

In 2002, the farm transformed from a production site into a leisure farm combining agriculture, education, and tourism. The farm practices eco-friendly farming by avoiding chemical pesticides, reducing fertilizer use, and installing solar panels to lower energy consumption. By supporting local smallholders and environmental education, the farm has become a “green base” for learning and sharing.
