Maple-Sheng Horticulture is located in Tianwei Township, Changhua County. During the season when kapok flowers bloom, travelers are greeted by scenic floral views and neat greenhouses as they enter Taiwan’s most representative flower hub.
Introduction
This farm carries the emotions of three generations tied to the land, blending traditional gardening, modern management, and lifestyle aesthetics. The farm originated from “Rui-Feng Flower Farm” founded by the grandfather, Zhou Rui-feng, which began with early flower cultivation. The second generation, Zhou Jun-lin, introduced greenhouse cultivation upon returning home, focusing on ornamental plants like Zamioculcas (Money Tree), Pachira aquatica (Fortune Tree), and Dracaena fragrans (Brazilian Ironwood).

The third generation, Zhou Jia-sheng, led the transition toward a modern horticultural site that integrates supply, design, and interactive experiences. The park handles everything from cultivation and styling to packaging in-house, with meticulous red decorations and binding techniques that make each plant a popular choice for corporate gifts and home decor.

Flora
Maple-Sheng Horticulture opens its grounds for visitors to experience the daily life of gardening within the greenhouses. The most popular activity is the Succulent Arrangement DIY, where visitors can select plants and arrange the media to create a personalized, healing pot. The park also offers workshops for making moss balls (kokedama), mounted plants, and wire shaping. Children particularly enjoy creating moss balls and mounting plants onto wooden boards to build their own “mini forests”. Advanced visitors can try shaping Podocarpus macrophyllus (Buddhist Pine) with iron wires to add artistic lines to the plants. Through these experiences, Maple-Sheng Horticulture transforms plants from simple commodities into companions for daily life.
