Located at the foothills of Dagang Mountain in Alian District, Kaohsiung, Gangfa Honey carries nearly 50 years of beekeeping knowledge passed down through the Wang family. Today, the second-generation beekeeper, Wang Qi-Fa, continues the legacy of his father, Wang Xin-He, preserving both the spirit and techniques of the craft.
Introduction
The story began with family care—when a relative needed royal jelly for recovery but found it too expensive, Wang Xin-He decided to raise bees himself. From cultivating bee colonies to producing royal jelly, this heartfelt decision unexpectedly began a lifelong bond with bees.
Over time, the apiary evolved from a production-focused farm into an experiential park that integrates education, leisure, and ecological awareness. Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by neatly arranged rows of beehives, known as the “Beehive Avenue,” resembling a small bee community and serving as the first stop to learn about bee life. Through guided tours and engaging storytelling, visitors gain a deeper appreciation of bees’ diligence and the vitality of the land.

Centered on beekeeping, Gangfa Honey has won multiple national top awards for longan honey, earning both quality recognition and a strong reputation. The farm practices eco-friendly beekeeping, emphasizing seasonal flower cycles and diverse nectar sources, while actively promoting agricultural education and farm experiences.
Dagang Mountain offers a stable climate and abundant floral resources, making it a key beekeeping area in southern Taiwan. With two generations of expertise, the Wang family manages over 500 beehives, producing longan honey, lychee honey, and even the rare jujube flower honey.

In addition to honey, pollen, and royal jelly, Gangfa Honey has developed a variety of products such as honey vinegar, honey beverages, beeswax lip balms, and decorative candles—bringing beekeeping culture into everyday life. All products are stored in certified 304 stainless steel containers to ensure purity and stability, while creative branding and packaging enhance their market appeal.
The park is designed around the theme of “coexistence between bees and humans,” offering diverse hands-on activities: ecological tours, hive observation, honey harvesting experiences, honey flavor tasting, hand-mixing pollen feed, and beeswax candle DIY. Visitors can witness the industrious nature of bees and the wonders of natural cycles firsthand.
Many children, after making beeswax candles and tasting honey themselves, develop a deeper appreciation for food sources and ecological balance.
With sincerity and professionalism, Gangfa Honey ensures that every drop of honey is not just sweet, but a story of harmony between humans and nature—bringing sustainability and warmth to Dagang Mountain.
