Introduction
Nanbangong Agri-Tourism Area Development Association is located in Xingang Township, Chiayi County, and encompasses three villages, each with its own characteristics. Bantou Village was awarded “Excellent farm in the country”, upholding the artistic juices of the county, Nangang Village, formerly known as “Bengang”, is one of the earliest ports in Taiwan, the allure of historical significance exudes in this place. Gonghe Village has the famous Mazu flower (bellflower), cantaloupe, small tomatoes, and spinach.
The Nanbangong Agri-Tourism Area Development Association was established in 2016. The Art Village is a main attraction. In recent years, eco-friendly farming has ignited the popularity of farm tours, Huojingu(Firefly), Grandma Shoulu dishes, the grain harvesting season, artists, Niuxu cultural festival compile a year of excitement. Dingcaiyuan Rural Museum, Pantao Kiln Jiaozhi Scissoring and Sticking Craft Park, Daqing Incense Shop, the artistic Yuan Xiang Si Ji, Fuxing Iron Bridge and others have added a layer or charm to the locality. There are many primary production crops, including rice, sweet potato, potato and cantaloupe, tomato, banana and root vegetables, leafy vegetables, bellflowers, etc., and the peanuts, sesame, black beans and other miscellaneous grains have broken new ground, aided by the agricultural policies of recent years.
