“Happy Sheep Farm” is a unique agritourism destination combining a farm, dining, and hands-on experiences. The park features three main areas: the “Green Play Zone,” a “Specialty Restaurant,” and the “Sheep Feeding Area.”
Introduction
Upon entering, visitors are surrounded by lush trees and greenery. The spacious central lawn allows children to run freely, earning the name “Green Play Zone.” The farm also offers an “Agri-Food Experience Classroom,” providing DIY courses and guided tours—a reflection of owner Chen Dehong’s commitment to upgrading to a level-six industry standard.

Beyond the original sheep milk bun workshops, the farm is expanding to include sheep milk cheese, ice cream, and other diverse experiences, allowing visitors to participate from ingredient sourcing to hands-on creation, enhancing understanding of agriculture and food. Additional display barns with multiple livestock breeds are set up for children and adults to observe and learn about animal behavior and daily farm life. By integrating agri-food education, local features, and family interactions, the farm creates an educational and entertaining sustainable agritourism space while continuously developing sheep milk products to promote Pingtung’s local goods.
Features of Agricultural Tourism
Poultry
Happy Sheep Farm adheres to the philosophy of “from farm to table, from experience to emotion,” aiming to create a friendly space for connecting with animals, enjoying food safely, and learning about agriculture.
The “Specialty Restaurant” was renovated from an old sheep barn, featuring dishes made with sheep milk and developing related products for longer shelf life. Through interactive courses, guided tours, and DIY activities, visitors can make sheep milk buns, cheese, feed sheep, and observe farm life—reconnecting with the land, animals, and food.
Signature dishes include pumpkin sheep milk hotpot, sheep milk cheese, pudding, vanilla ice cream, Thai-style sheep milk tea, coffee, and cocoa slush. Local products like sheep milk tablets, soaps, honey, herbal sugar, and fresh fruit popsicles are also excellent souvenirs.
In the “Sheep Feeding Area,” the main breed is Nubian dairy sheep, known for their gentle temperament, friendliness to humans, long ears, and tall stature—perfect for close-up feeding and petting experiences.
